The Challenge

The product required a unified experience for identity, payments, and commerce. Multiple systems had to work together without friction for both direct-to-consumer and internal users. The team also needed a compelling proof-of-concept to align sales and leadership on the product direction.

The Approach

I focused on three integration areas and end-to-end flows:

Identity (Okta)

• Wired Okta into the app for authentication and session management so that both public and internal users had a single, secure sign-on experience.

Payments (Stripe)

• Integrated Stripe for payments and subscriptions. Designed payment and checkout forms with clear validation, error handling, and accessibility so that conversion and trust were prioritized.

Commerce (Shopify)

• Connected the website to Shopify so product catalog, cart, and order flows were consistent. Built shipping and checkout forms that tied into the existing design system and met business rules.

Execution

I led development on one of the core product streams, drove collaboration across the team, and ensured clean code merges and deployments across a blended stack. I also built a dynamic proof-of-concept that showcased the product’s potential and helped secure stakeholder and sales alignment.
